Scott and Tara first met back in middle school and then lost contact for over 30 years before reconnecting and getting married in 2016. Tara claims Scott wouldn’t give her the time of day back then, but Scott selectively still has no recollection to this day. After many years of doing the beltway grind in and around Northern VA, MD, and DC they have decided to put the brakes on their day jobs and take a nationwide cross country adventure. Along the way, they hope to tackle state high points, visit the country’s most prized National Parks, and share time with many family and friends. While exploring this great nation, they intend to meet people of all types, the backbone of America, who unbeknownst to many really make this country go around .
